Looking for the best price on a new set of name-brand tires? A quick tire rotation or tire inspection with no appointment? Our factory-trained experts are committed to making sure your tires are safe and ready for the road. And we have several name-brand tires for you to choose from.
Capital GMC is your one-stop-shop for all of your tire needs:
Many people think that buying tires from a dealership will be more expensive than buying from a discount tire store. This is simply untrue. Capital GMC Buick Cadillac is committed to providing quality tires and we refuse to be undersold! If you find an advertised price that is lower than ours, we’ll match it.
As a dealership, we also have the opportunity to provide you with an extended tire warranty. This allows you to drive comfortably, knowing that if something happens, you’re covered. The value of the warranty far exceeds the cost in the long run! As an added bonus, when you purchase and install your tires at Capital GMC Buick Cadillac, we make sure your tires are rotated and balanced to avoid issues down the road.
Even if you’re driving safely, Saskatchewan winter roads can be slippery. Reduce your risk on the road by purchasing winter tires. Like a good pair of winter boots, a good set of winter tires means you can stay safer on icy roads throughout the harsh winter months. In our store, we can help you find, replace, or install the right set of winter tires for your vehicle.
Winter tires are built for more than wet, snowy conditions. They perform better in the cold. Capital GMC in Regina recommends switching to winter tires when the temperature dips below 7 degrees Celsius.
It is crucial to know when a tire should be repaired or replaced. We can help you determine if you need tire repair service, and what type, or if purchasing a replacement tire is the better option. We strive to provide prompt and expert service for tire repairs and high-quality replacements for any make and model of vehicle.
To determine if a tire is damaged, it must be removed from the wheel for a complete internal inspection.
Do NOT drive on a flat tire, even for a short distance. It could cause damage beyond repair.
Capital GMC technicians can fix most punctures, nail holes, and cuts up to about 1/4 inch deep. Tread with punctures larger than 1/4 inch, sidewall punctures, or tires that are worn down to less than 1/16 inch are usually beyond repair and need replacing.
In order to get the most out of your tires, make sure you’re taking care of them!
Tires should be rotated approximately every 8,000 kms. It’s best to have this service done by a Certified Technician: we can offer proper balancing and alignment to ensure your vehicle is safe on the road.
Tire Wear Beware of tire wear! Excessive wear on your tires is not only harmful, but driving can become extremely dangerous in many conditions. Watch for the warning signs: excessive wear on the inside, outside, or shoulder of the tire; patchy or diagonal tread patterns; cord or fabric showing through the rubber; punctures, cuts, and irreparable damage. Each of these issues requires a different solution and your Service Advisor at Capital GMC will gladly assist you with your tire needs.
Most tire manufacturers recommend only using soap and water to clean your tires. Other compounds contain ingredients that are actually damaging to rubber.
Tire Storage Tires should be stored away from sources of electrical fields, such as motors and generators, and must not come into contact with petroleum products which can harm the rubber. Even if your vehicle is parked for an extended period of time, the tire can lose air pressure; be sure to check your vehicle and inflate to the proper psi (as indicated in the owner’s manual or inside the vehicle, usually the drivers side door frame). Capital GMC offers seasonal tire storage at an affordable price.
